Crime Prevention

The Justice element of the Programme for Government 2007-2012 contains a strong emphasis on crime prevention, particularly regarding the combating of anti-social behaviour through the strengthening of parental accountability, the rehabilitation and monitoring of ex-prisoners and the reinforcement of anti-drug use programmes and treatment centres.
